Cocoon
Back to my cocoon dear I am going;
To be safe and free,
Away from the world of lust and passion,
Where your incurable crush on me;
Will never reach me. No happiness and joy dear; I know, But darkness and loneliness,
Yet inside my cocoon I hope I will be safe,
Safe from all the endangering elements.
Promised to laugh when I wanted to weep,
And promised to go ahead when,
I wanted to turn back and look,
But warmth of your love ,
Oh dear! Still I feel inside here.
No more winter and autumn for me,
But the spring you created will remain.
I cannot even imagine,
The unlimited virgin forest we went past,
Oh dear! Even my dreams are framed.
Nor can the smile in my lips be parted
Since I have promised to keep it for ever.
I could see the road paved by mayflowers,
Vanishing before me for ever,
And the last trace of our footmarks,
Being masked by the newly fallen reds.
Back to my cocoon friend I am returning,
Beholding the luminous and refreshing
memories, And the elements they impart.
Regretting all that have been lost,
And will now never be,
Beholding the unconditional love you offered,
I am back here in my cocoon so safe but alone.
Now ages had passed and I have its refection on me,At times I longed to know whether;
The mayflowers still blossom there?
Still the paths be the same,
Embedded with red carpets?
